Can my child attend the camp even if their English is not very good?

For the Full-on Fun Down Under camp, every student will take an English placement test before classes begin, so they’ll be placed in an English class that best matches their English ability. There’s no need to worry about whether your child can keep up. Our teachers have extensive experience working with international students and are skilled at providing the right level of support. In addition, Jump Forward has native English-speaking staff who can offer guidance and assistance with learning at any time.

Is an English test required before joining?

No English test is required before applying, as we want all students to have equal access to this transformative experience. Some promotional discounts are available depending on time of registration.

Participant Requirements

Students must be aged between 13-17years and can take care of themselves appropriately for their age, and must be willing to follow rules for the safety of all participants.​

Safety

Safety is our top priority. All travel arrangements, accommodations, and activities—both on and off site—are pre-checked and approved by Jump Forward to ensure that every participant has a safe and rewarding overseas experience.

Beyond physical safety and comfort, we also care about students’ emotional well-being, especially those traveling abroad for the first time. We understand the challenges of stepping out of one’s comfort zone, adapting to new surroundings, making new friends, and learning about different cultures. Our experienced Thai and Australian group leaders will observe and support students, ensuring they have the best experience possible.

Students will experience life in Australia’s, and visit Australia's most iconic cities—Sydney and Melbourne—making this an incredibly valuable and unforgettable experience.

Will parents be updated about their children while they are abroad?

​Absolutely. We understand that sending your child abroad is a big step, and we aim to make parents feel confident and connected throughout the journey. Our team provides regular updates during the camp so you can stay informed and reassured. At the same time, we encourage giving students space to grow, build independence, and discover who they are—so we don’t provide detailed individual daily reports, but rather general updates about the group’s activities and progress.
